Overview:
Sierra Wireless AirCard 881 was the first laptop connect card that was introduced by AT&T. This EDGE card has actually two technologies, the HSPDA 7.2 and the HSUPA. The HSPDA 7.2 is meant to speed up downstream while HSUPA should double the upstream of co-existing cards with speeds of 384 Kbps under AT&T’s system. The faster upload speed will improve that user’s ability to send large files such as videos, mp3s and other business documents while the faster download speed provides optimal wireless internet-browsing experience. Sierra AirCard 881 comes with quad band EDGE support (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and tri band HSDPA/HSUPA support (850/1900/2100MHz), enabling its users to work virtually anywhere around the globe.
